TEMPLE CITY, Los Angeles County — October 25, 2026. Temple City has announced a Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 31, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Live Oak Park, 10144 Bogue Street. The city’s official event page lists a haunted maze, trunk-or-treat, inflatable play area, game booths, arts and crafts, costume patrol, photo opportunities and food trucks.
Parents: the jumper waiver has its own deadline
The city says the inflatable and jumper activities are free, but every participant must complete a waiver. The online form is scheduled to close at 5 p.m. on October 31, one hour before the festival begins. The city says hard-copy waivers will also be available at the event, and families who complete the form online can collect wristbands at the dedicated booth. A submitted waiver does not guarantee immediate access if lines, capacity or safety restrictions apply.
Food, parking and costumes
The organizer warns that parking is limited and suggests nearby street parking in compliance with posted restrictions. Families should bring a bag for treats. The city says food trucks will sell food, which is distinct from free festival activities. Its Costume Patrol will recognize selected costumes with prizes; a costume does not automatically guarantee an award.
The city also offers registration links for residents who wish to decorate a vehicle for trunk-or-treat or volunteer. Check the event page to confirm that registration remains open and to review any participant requirements before making arrangements.
Other recreation opportunities
Live Oak Park is the city’s largest park, with 16 acres of recreational space, sports courts and playing fields, according to Temple City’s official parks directory. The event is temporary: do not assume the usual park facilities will be available during setup and teardown. The city also operates Primrose Park and Temple City Park.
